Zence is a premium sparkling beverage infused with crystals and adaptogens. Each infused tonic has a unique flavor and a crystal-adaptogen pairing with similar and compatible health benefits. This drink was crafted for the health nuts, the nature enthusiasts, and the spiritual gurus who want to awaken their senses, inspire moments of mindfulness and gratitude, and restore balance into their lives.

THE BRANDING
The name Zence is the combination of the words "zen" and "essence", which are at the forefront of what these drinks want to provide for their consumers.
The branding for Zence was heavily influenced by the art nouveau style, tarot card illustrations, and bright colors from elements in the natural world. These specific categories are associated with spiritual guidance and the ritualistic practices we hope our audience pairs with our beverages. It was important to take inspiration from the earth and represent both the crystals and plants as they appear in nature, with a bit of an illustrative twist.
In order to create a unique experience that provides both energetic and calming qualities, these original earthier tones were brightened and saturated, giving Zence a vibrant and eye-catching retail presence.

THE PACKAGING
To preserve carbonation and provide the most convenience, Zence is stored in sleek aluminum cans with pressure sensitive labels. The cans are stored in a standard cardboard box, and can be refrigerated or left out on the shelf. Each flavor profile's color palette is inspired by its individual infusions and how they are found in nature. The different flavors include:
Wild Berry Fusion (Turquoise and Schisandra): for focus, positivity, and an alert mind.
Mad Melon Zap (Bloodstone and Maca Root): for strength, energy, and muscle health.
Grape Aloe Dream (Moonstone and Reishi): for vitality, immunity, and organ healing.
Honey Citrus Zen (Topaz and Ashwaghanda): for balance, calming, and mindfulness.

THE MARKETING
To promote and sell Zence, I created various marketing components that reflect the beverage but also expand on the Zence experience.
The website will be the primary way for consumers to buy Zence products. It will not only showcase the beverages, but also show other branded items such as athletic t-shirts, bracelets, hats, and journals. These products are meant to promote different health and wellness practices like yoga, journaling, and meditation.
I also developed a motion piece that advertises each of the four flavors and makes use of a zen, auditory experience. It was created to be an Instagram advertisement based on my target audience's media usage/preferences. Depicting each of the drinks in nature is meant to promote Zence’s positive, spiritual and calm messaging.
